large Pink heart pendant and earrings 1

This pendant and earring set has an interesting combination of subtle colour graduation with rich pinks and purples. This is combined with a surface which is quite textured as a result of the particular technique used to produce this set.

 This pendant bead and earrings are air filled and so is lighter than you expect.  They have a gently surface on the front to give them a pleasing shape. All the pieces have a pretty patterned finish on the back.

The colours are applied to the surface using a technique of carefully transferring clay that has been placed into a texture sheet one small section at a time back onto the supporting clay sheet.  This process is very time consuming. A shape was then carefully selected and the thin polymer sheet was draped to form a pleasing curve before being cut to trap just the right amount of air to produce the finished shape of the pendant. The pendant has a matching bail which both supports the pendant and adds to it's visual impact. It is designed to be hung from a smooth metal neck piece but can also be strung with ribbon, leather, buna cord, textiles etc. The matching polymer clay bail supports the piece but also adds to its bold design.

The matching earrings are also air filled and made by the same process as the pendant.  The wire connections in the earrings and the pendant are made by hand with tarnish resistant artistic wire.

This item is hand crafted and so has imperfections that add to its unique charm.
