Technique used:
The pattern on these jewellery pieces is complex cane technique and involves the manipulation of different coloured clay to form the design, cutting hundreds of small individual pieces and then combining these to form the surface design. Each piece is then put onto other layers of clay, shaped and finished with sanding, buffing and stringing.
Each piece is crafted by hand and so may have some small imperfections which adds to the charm.
